SHORT BIO

LINDA SUSSMAN is an award-winning singer-songwriter and guitarist whose alternative-folk and blues music is equal parts uplifting, bluesy, gritty, soothing and anthemic — all the ingredients one would expect from a seasoned artist. Linda’s vocals are often compared to Joan Baez, her songwriting is reminiscent of Joni Mitchell, while her self-taught guitar style leans into open tunings, strong fingerstyle and a bit of acoustic slide. Whether recorded solo or with additional instrumentation, Linda's voice remains the anchor.

Linda has been featured on WFUV John Platt’s On Your Radar series, while the many venues she has played range from NYC's iconic The Bitter End and Kenny's Castaways to the Long Island Music Hall of Fame to the Jeanne Rimsky Theater to Vermont's more intimate Radio Bean. Despite landing in a forced 10-yr hiatus, she returned in 2017 and, since 2018,  has released six full-length albums with her studio musicians. Linda's music is widely celebrated on the roots music and alt-folk charts and played on radio internationally.
